How long does it take to receive a cash advance from a credit card? And how/where do you get it from?

It would be especially helpful if anyone could tell me specifics for AmEx GreenCard, Sears Gold MasterCard, and/or Lexus Pursuits Visa Signature, as those are the three I've got. I need it by Saturday or Sunday (the money, I mean), so answers are urgently needed!

You should be able to get a cash advance on any of those cards from your bank — however, you will pay a hefty interest rate on the advance, which is a type of loan.

Some cards (including my MasterCard) are accepted by ATMs, and you can get an amount equal to the daily limit set on the machine.

Exact information for each card can be obtained by calling the card company. The phone number should be on the back of the card as well as on your monthly statement.

All you need is a PIN. You just take your card to an ATM, insert your card, enter your PIN, and take out the cash advance that you want.

Credit card companies begin charging interest on cash advances immediately, and often there will be ATM fees as well. If you must use a cash advance, be prepared for the interest and fees.
